Once you have created your account and signed in for the first time, LittleLink ID will guide you through onboarding. This is where you add your setting details, upload your insurance or certificate, and submit the information needed to prepare your card.
You will need to complete onboarding before you can fully start using the platform.
Step 1: Add your setting details
When you log in, the first onboarding step is to enter your setting details.

After adding your setting details, the next step is to enter your childminder registration number. This helps LittleLink ID review your onboarding submission and confirm your setting details.
Before submitting, double-check that your registration number is correct.

- or a certificate.
Make sure the document:
- is current and valid
- is clear and easy to read
- shows the information needed for review

Step 4: Submit your onboarding form
Once you have completed your setting details, entered your registration number, and uploaded your insurance or certificate, you can submit the form for review.
After submission, an admin will review your onboarding and either:
