Troubleshooting for approvers

Most approver issues are related to email delivery, first-time setup, or expired access links. If something is not working as expected, start with the checks below.
I didn’t receive my email
If you have not received the approver email, check:
My setup link has expired
If you are new to LittleLink ID, your password setup link is valid for 72 hours. If you try to use it after that, it will no longer work and a new link will be needed.
I can’t access my account
If you cannot sign in, check:
I’m not sure what to do with the request
If you can see the request but are not sure what action to take:
Good to know
If the childminder entered the wrong email address for you, they will need to correct it before you can receive the request properly.
I didn’t receive my email
If you have not received the approver email, check:
- your junk or spam folder
- any promotions or filtered inbox folders
- that the childminder used the correct email address.

I can’t access my account
If you cannot sign in, check:
- that you are using the same email address that received the approver invite
- that your password was set successfully
- whether you need to request a new setup or sign-in email.
I’m not sure what to do with the request
If you can see the request but are not sure what action to take:
- review the child’s details carefully
- approve if everything looks correct
- ask for changes if something needs updating
- decline only if the request should not go ahead.
