Assistant cards: how they work

If you use assistant cards in LittleLink ID, it is important to know that they do not automatically mirror your main card.
Children appear on the card they are currently linked to, which means different cards can show different checked-in children.
How assistant cards work
Each LittleLink ID card is managed separately. If you have more than one card on your account, each card can have its own linked public profile view based on which children are currently assigned to it.
This means assistant cards are not simply copies of the main card.
Why children may appear differently on each card
A child will only appear on the card they are currently connected to.
So if a child is checked in under one card, they may not automatically appear under another card, including an assistant card.
This is expected behaviour.
When this matters
This is most noticeable when:
Moving a child to another card
If a child needs to appear under a different card, you can move them to another card from the dashboard area.

When this matters
This is most noticeable when:
- you have more than one active card
- assistants are using different cards
- children are expected to appear under a different card during the day

If a child needs to appear under a different card, you can move them to another card from the dashboard area.

Once moved, the child will be linked to the newly selected card.
Good to know
If you were expecting assistant cards to show exactly the same children as your main card, that is not how the feature works.
