Your LittleLink ID public profile is linked to your physical card. When someone scans the QR code or taps the NFC chip, they are taken to a page that shows important emergency information in a more privacy-conscious way.
The public profile is designed to help in an emergency without showing more information than necessary.
When the public profile shows children
A child only appears on the public profile when they are checked in. If a child is checked out, they are removed from the public profile and their information is no longer shown publicly.
This means the public profile reflects which children are currently in your care.

What information is shown
When a child is checked in, the public profile will show:
- the child’s initials
- their age band
- a blurred photo, if a photo has been added and allowed to show
- allergies & important information
- emergency contact options.

This makes key emergency details available while keeping the information limited.

How child photos work
If a child photo is added to the profile, LittleLink ID automatically creates a blurred version for the public profile. The original image is not shown publicly.
If you would prefer not to show a child’s photo at all, you can select Do not show on public profile when adding or editing the child.

How emergency contacts work
Emergency contacts can be made available through the public profile so someone can act quickly if needed. However, LittleLink ID uses a masked calling system, which means private phone numbers are not shown when a call is made through the profile.
This helps protect contact details while still allowing emergency access.
Phone number confirmation for calling
To use calling through the public profile, the system will ask you to confirm the phone number being used. Once confirmed, calls can be made through the masked calling feature where supported.
