How settings work, including auto-checkout

LittleLink ID includes a Settings area where you can manage account behaviour and preferences. One of the key settings available is auto-checkout, which helps remove children from the public profile if they are not manually checked out by the end of the day.

What auto-checkout does
When auto-checkout is enabled:
  • reminder emails can be sent at 9:30pm
  • children who are still checked in can then be removed automatically from the public profile later at 10pm.

This helps prevent child information remaining visible overnight.

How to manage auto-checkout
To review or update this setting:
  1. Go to Settings
  2. Find the auto-checkout option
  3. Turn the setting on or off as needed
  4. Save your changes.
Why this setting is useful
Auto-checkout is a helpful backup if a manual checkout is missed. It is not intended to replace daily checkout, but it helps clear the public profile if the day ends and a child is still shown as checked in.

Good to know
If a child disappears from the public profile later in the evening, auto-checkout may be the reason. If that is not the behaviour you want, check this setting first.
