How to update an approver’s email address

Each child in LittleLink ID should have one approver. If the approver’s email address was entered incorrectly, the approver may not receive their review email or be able to access the request.

You can update the approver’s email address from the child’s contact details or from the Approvers & Contacts area.

How to update the email address
To update an approver’s email:
  1. Go to Approvers & Contacts from the left-hand menu, or open the child’s contact details
  2. Find the approver contact
  3. Edit the email address
  4. Save the updated details.

Make sure the updated email address is correct before saving, as a small typo can prevent the approver from receiving anything.

What happens next?
Once the email address has been corrected, resend the child’s details to the updated approver so they can review the request.

If this is the approver’s first time using LittleLink ID, they may also receive a password setup email and will need to create their account before reviewing the child. The setup link is valid for 72 hours.

Good to know
If the child is still showing as awaiting review after the update, check that:
  • the new email address is correct
  • the approver has checked junk or spam
  • the approver has completed account setup if needed.
