When an approver reviews a child’s details in LittleLink ID, they can choose to:

What it means
An approver asking for changes means something in the child’s profile needs to be corrected or updated before approval can go ahead. The child will not become fully active, or updated details will not go live, until the amended version has been approved.

When the change is requested by the approver, the childminder will get a notification in email showing the request that was asked by the approver.

What the childminder should do next

- Open the child’s Details
- Review the information that needs updating
- Make the requested changes
- Save and submit the updated details again.

What happens to the child record in the meantime
If this is a new child, they remain awaiting review until the updated details are approved.
If this is an update to an already approved child, the last approved version remains in place until the new version has been approved.
