My approver didn’t receive their email

When you add a child in LittleLink ID and assign an approver, the approver should receive an email asking them to review the child’s details. If it is their first time using LittleLink ID, they will also receive a password setup email so they can create their account.
If the approver has not received their email, it is usually caused by an incorrect email address, a filtered message, or an expired setup link.
What to check first
Ask your approver to check:
If they have more than one email address, make sure you used the right one when adding them as the approver.
Check the approver email address
Go to the child’s details or the Approvers & Contacts area and confirm that the approver’s email address has been entered correctly. The approver email is required when a contact is marked as the approver.
If the approver has not received their email, it is usually caused by an incorrect email address, a filtered message, or an expired setup link.
What to check first

- their junk or spam folder
- their promotions or other inbox folders
- whether they are checking the correct email account.

A small typo in the email address is one of the most common reasons the approver does not receive anything.
If the approver is new to LittleLink ID
If the approver has never used LittleLink ID before, they will need to set up their account before they can review the child’s details. They should receive a password setup email, and that setup link is only valid for 72 hours.
If the email arrives late or the link is no longer active, they may need a new setup link.
If the child is still awaiting review
Until the approver receives the email and takes action, the child will remain awaiting review and may appear faded out in the Children area. The child will not become fully active until the review is completed.
Update the approver and resend if needed
If you find that the approver email address is wrong, update it in Approvers & Contacts or in the child’s contact details, then resend the child details to the correct address.
If the approver is new to LittleLink ID

In this case, click on the Resend Welcome Email button to send a new activation link to the parent.

Once the correct approver receives the email, they can sign in and choose to approve, ask for changes, or decline the request.

If the email address was entered incorrectly, click on the Edit button for the approver, update the email then click "Save changes". When the email has been updated, click on the "Resend Welcome Email" button to resend a new activation link to the approver's new email address.
