My password setup link has expired

Last Update 2 months ago

When you sign up for LittleLink ID, you receive an email with a link to set your password and access your account for the first time. That link is only valid for 72 hours.

If you try to use the link after that time, it will no longer work and you will need a new one.

Why the link expires
The password setup link expires for security reasons. This helps protect access to your account and makes sure setup links are not left active for too long.

What to do if your link has expired
If your password setup link no longer works:
  • go back to your original email
  • check whether the email was sent more than 72 hours ago
  • request a new password setup link by requesting a new password on the platform
If there is a support or reset option on the login page, use that first. If not, contact support through the available help channels.

Check your inbox for the replacement email
Once a new setup link has been requested, check:
  • your main inbox
  • junk or spam
  • promotions or filtered folders.

Make sure you are checking the same email address used during signup.

Use the new link as soon as possible
When the replacement email arrives, open it and set your password straight away. This helps avoid the link expiring again before setup is complete.

If you still can’t access your account
If you have requested a new link and still cannot access your account, check:
  • that you signed up with the correct email address
  • that your payment completed successfully
  • that the email has not been filtered into another folder.

Good to know
If you never received the original email at all, use the separate troubleshooting guide:
I didn’t receive my password setup email.
